GURU SHABAD SINGH KHALSA DE SANTIS
Guru Shabad Singh Khalsa De Santis was born in Rome on 4th May 1952. Already a 3rd dan in Judo and Ju Jitsu Go Ju, he met the Master Yogi Bhajan in 1978 and under his guidance he has begun the study and the practice of GATKA and KUNDALINI YOGA. In 1991 he founded Federazione Italiana Gatka (Italian Gatka Federation) and Federazione Italiana Kundalini Yoga (Kundalini Yoga Italian Federation), now IKYTA-ITALIA. He’s the first teacher of Kundalini Yoga in Italy, and a senior teacher trainer internationally certified by 3HO (http://www.3ho.org/).
Technical Director of F.I.G. (since 2013 I.G.A. – International Gatka Academy) and GATKA National Director for U.I.S.P. (http://www.uisp.it/nazionale/), he’s one of the founders, and still in charge as a National Councillorr, of the UISP – YOGA and ORIENTAL DICIPLINES division. As a member of the Scientific Committee of the Bhaktivedanta Institute of Bombay, he was a lecturer, representing Sikh Dharma, at the World Congress on Life and its Origins, held in Rome in 2004.
Author of the “TANTRA” show (click here to watch it) and co-author of the book “Vibrazioni di Forza” (“Force Vibrations”).
Didactical Director of the Gatka and Kundalini yoga Centre “Yogi Bhajan Akhara”, located in Rome and headquarter of Federazione Italiana Gatka/International Gatka Academy, where he performs, the only one in the world, an ancient shamanic ritual : the Therapy of the Sword.
He’s the creator of a personal training and teaching method called GATKA GURU SHABAD SYSTEM ® , and he’s currently engaged in teaching GATKA on weekly courses, workshops in Italy and abroad, and through international teacher training special programs.
